Without knowledge of history, it becomes impossible to move towards the future. Libraries have existed since ancient times and were of great importance to contemporaries, and later to the next generations. Man has always sought to acquire knowledge, and it was libraries that carried the main, principled burden of enlightenment. Therefore, it is impossible to overestimate the importance and significant contribution of ancient libraries to the history of mankind.
